We really realized this when we were camping in the Mojave, and sorting through the pictures recently reminded me of it:
The desert has some absolutely beautiful moments - sunrise and sunset. The rest of the day might be pretty miserable, but sunrise and sunset can be absolutely breathtaking. Here are some pictures to prove it :)
