For those who missed the big game because they were watching such unimportant games last week as VA Tech vs. Alabama (love you, hon!), W&M beat our (academic) rivals UVA in the first football game of the season. Go Tribe! Mom sent this to me from our favorite sports writer's column in the paper back home (The Virginian Pilot):
"Even if it upsets the NCAA logo police, W&M’s win over UVA puts a feather in the Tribe’s cap – maybe 2."
