Two actively on the needles right now. Well, one on the needles and one blocking. But it's still blocking, and not totally finished yet, so it's still a WIP! There are more on the needles, but these are the two I've been working on this week.
Here are pictures:
I've just started the mid-January Dishcloth. The mid-month dishclothes are patterns, not pictures, so they're very well suited for varigated yarns. This one'll be in the bright green-blue-yellow Sugar'n'Cream cotton, because I've got tons of it. Have the seed stitch border done so far.
The other project is the one that's blocking, the Anthropologie-Inspired Capelet. This was the fuzzy white yarn that was causing me so much trouble earlier in the month. Well, I'm definitely glad I reworked it, because I'm very happy with how it came out. It's stretched out blocking now, to get the front borders to lie flat, as they should. Here it is stretched out on my dining table.
Thinking of WIPs, I thinking about joining the crowd and doing Clapotis, from Knitty, using the ribbon yarn I've got. I saw someone else make a Clapotis using ribbon yarn, to make more of a shawl than a scarf, and that's really what I'm aiming for. If not Clapotis, then maybe Boob Tube from Stephanie Japel (Glampyre) or the Minimalist Shrug from Interweave Knits.
Decisions, decisions...
